Picker Joe’s Celebrates Grand Opening of New Savannah Location, Raises $1,800 for Coastal Pet Rescue!
Savannah, GA, March 16, 2026 – Picker Joe’s Antique Mall & Vintage Market celebrated the grand opening of its new location at 66 W. Montgomery Cross Road on Saturday, March 14, with a community celebration that drew hundreds of guests and raised $1,800 for Coastal Pet Rescue.
The evening began with an official Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting at 5:30 PM, followed by a grand opening celebration from 6 PM to 9 PM inside the newly expanded antique and vintage marketplace.
Guests explored the new space filled with antiques, vintage items, collectibles, furniture, and one-of-a-kind finds while enjoying live music from Trey Gurley and Jared Hall, which kept the energy going throughout the evening.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support from the Savannah community,” said James Plumlee, owner of Picker Joe’s Antique Mall & Vintage Market. “Seeing hundreds of people come out to celebrate this new chapter while also helping raise funds for Coastal Pet Rescue made the night truly special.”
Picker Joe’s extends thanks to the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce for hosting the ribbon cutting, Jimmy Campbell for bartending, and Kathryn Johnson for helping with event setup and support. Special appreciation also goes to Tom McCormick and Julie Hampton for their help during the celebration, along with Chris Shomo, Manager of Picker Joe’s, for helping organize and bring the grand opening event together.

The new location offers expanded space for shoppers and continues the store’s tradition of bringing together antiques, vintage furniture, architectural pieces, collectibles, artwork, and unique treasures from across the region.
